Športna dvorana OŠ Stična

Športna dvorana OŠ Stična is a school hall where handball is played on a wood parquet floor and where a table tennis tournament called the Stična Open takes place. The venue sits within the OŠ Stična school building in the Stična settlement of Ivančna Gorica. It opened for use on September 1, 2003, following the laying of the foundation stone on September 15, 1979. The hall accommodates 300 spectators, a figure accepted by the Basketball Federation of Slovenia (KZS), though other sources claim 500. The exact location on the street is a matter of dispute, with addresses cited as both Cesta 2. grupe odredov 40 and Cesta občine Hirschaid 1. It is the one where RK SVIŠ Ivančna Gorica, a club founded on August 15, 1960, plays its matches. The space is multipurpose. On some nights the lights are on for a match; on others, for a concert. There is no history of renaming or sponsorship deals attached to the doors. It is a functional room in a school complex, used by the community for whatever activity fits on the floor.
