Stadium
Športski centar Gripe
Split, Croatia
The complex sits in the Gripe district. It arrived in 1979 to host the Mediterranean Games, built by architects Slaven Rožić and Živorad Janković.
Inside, the surface is natural hardwood. Before the renovation finished in 2023, the capacity was much larger, relying on standing areas, but fixed seating was installed to bring the number down to 2,213.
The building is managed by JUSOS, the Public Institution Sports Facilities Split, which took over responsibility in 1997. Instead, the space hosts water polo, judo, and boxing events, alongside concerts that occasionally sell out.
