Tapa Spordikeskus

Tapa Stadium sits in the quiet of Lääne-Virumaa, where the town of Tapa gathers its sports.

There is a sense of the building’s age in the way the track curves rather than cuts corners, and in the gap where the lighting rig used to be. The capacity sits at roughly 1,500, a number that matches the scale of the seating rather than the size of the town.

What stands out is the function of the track. The grass is kept in good condition, but the track is what gives the place its shape. It belongs to the town and to the disciplines that built it.
