Townsend Meadow

The ground sits on Hampton Road in Warwick. Racing Club Warwick F.C. moved to the site in the 1960s, settling into what was then a modest setup. The club itself traces back to 1919, when it was Saltisford Rovers, adopting its current name in 1970.

The pitch is the first thing that stands out: it is not grass. It is a 3G artificial surface , laid down in the winter of 2020/2021 after a project funded by the Football Foundation. Before that, the club played on natural grass. New stands, changing rooms and floodlights followed the same line of thinking. The capacity is 2,100, with about 270 seats, so most of the crowd stands.

It is Townsend Meadow, though it carries the title Church Farm Brewery at Townsend Meadow thanks to a long-standing partnership with the local brewery. The address is straightforward too: Townsend Meadow, Hampton Road, Warwick, Warwickshire, CV34 6JP, UK.

The club has not moved since the 1960s. It exists for Racing Club Warwick and the people who come to watch them play.
