Wau Stadium

Wau Stadium sits on Dr. Jhon Garang Street in the centre of the town, a patch of natural grass that has outlasted the wind. The ground has hosted Wau Salaam FC, Al Hilal FC (Wau), and Al-Ghazala SC, but the most recent storm in November 2017 did more than just test the turf; it took the stands with it. The current capacity is widely cited as 5,000 spectators, a figure consistent across Wikipedia, Grokipedia, and other recent records, though one source from Eye Radio previously mentioned a capacity of 12,000.

The pitch itself adheres to standard FIFA regulations, stretching 105m by 68m in a town where football is governed by the South Sudan Football Federation (SSFF).
