Yashar Mammadzade Stadium
Mingachevir, Azerbaijan
Formerly: Mingachevir City Stadium
It was opened in 1953, built while Mingachevir was still a young city. For decades it carried the name Mingachevir City Stadium, a title that suited a place built by the state for the state. It was renamed after Yashar Mammadzade, a war hero, by March 2009, when the President visited the site.
FC Energetik Mingachevir have played here since the club was founded in 1966, under names like Textilshchik and Kur. The semi-final of that same tournament, a 2–0 win over Taraggi Baku, was played on this grass. The surface is natural, and the track around it is red.
