Füssen — Deggendorf: 2:5, Oberliga Süd

Füssen host Deggendorf in the Oberliga South on Friday evening, but the visitors claim a decisive 2:5 win. The result leaves the home side in ninth place with two games played and a point tally of zero. Deggendorf meanwhile sit third in the table, also on zero points after two victories.

Füssen's recent form has been mixed. They lost 0:2 to Ritzers on 20 September before beating Erding 4:2 two days prior. Their earlier fixtures include a 4:2 win over Erding in February and a 5:2 victory against Hochstadt Alligators.

Deggendorf arrived with momentum, having secured a 6:0 win over Lindau on 20 September. They followed that with a 2:1 victory against Heilbronner Falken on 18 September. An earlier defeat to Regensburg 2:5 in August sits alongside two February wins over Bayreuth and Memmingen.

The final score reflects Deggendorf's superiority on the day. Füssen failed to match the pace set by their opponents, while the visitors converted their opportunities efficiently. The result extends Deggendorf's unbeaten run and leaves the hosts searching for their first points of the campaign.
