Landshut — Düsseldorf: 5:6, DEL2

Landschhut and Düsseldorf played out a remarkable 5:6 victory for the visitors in DEL2 on Sunday, 20 September. The hosts had won their opening fixture 3:1 against Lausitz Füchse, while the visitors had beaten Krimmler 4:1 on the 18th. Both sides now sit unbeaten with one win apiece, though Düsseldorf move to second place and Landschhut remain fourth.

And here's the thing about this kind of opener — you don't always know what you're watching until the final whistle. Landschhut came out strong, but Düsseldorf found a way through. When you're 5:6 down with nothing to show for it, you start questioning your defensive structure.

By then, the standings tell a simple story. One game played, one win each, no draws, no losses. Düsseldorf sit on top of the second tier with two points, Landschhut have zero. The gap is narrow, but in a league where every point matters, position means something.
