Volna Nizhny Novgorod beat Rotor Volgograd 2:0 in the Regions Path quarter-finals of the Cup on Tuesday. The match took place on 9 September 2026 at the hosts' ground. Rotor came into the tie with a difficult run of results, having lost three of their last five games across all competitions.
