Alexander Radulov scores 300th KHL career goal

Alexander Radulov became only the third player in Kontinental Hockey League history to score 300 goals, netting the milestone strike in the 60th minute as Lokomotiv Yaroslavl beat Traktor Chelyabinsk 4:1 on 15 September.

The 40-year-old Forward has led Lokomotiv's attack since 2024 and has helped the Yaroslavl side lift the Gagarin Cup in each of the last two seasons, in 2025 and 2026. He first won the trophy in 2011, with Salavat Yulaev Ufa, before spells at CSKA Moscow and Ak Bars Kazan.

Only two players have scored more in the league's history. Sergei Mozyakin leads with 419 goals, and Vadim Shipachev has 322.

Traktor had gone into the fixture having just re-signed Forward Nikita Soshnikov through 2026/27, but the Chelyabinsk side found no way through against Lokomotiv.

Radulov also holds two world championship golds with the Russian national side, from 2008 and 2009.

Elsewhere in the league this week, Spartak Moscow set a new KHL record on 12 September, scoring three times inside the first two minutes of their match against Severstal Cherepovets. Alexander Belyaev, Daniil Gutik and Nikita Kholodilin were the scorers.
