Traktor's Vitaly Kravtsov sends a car to GRU special forces
Traktor forward Vitaly Kravtsov, recovering from an Achilles injury, says the car for the 14th GRU brigade has nothing to do with hockey and may save lives.
Traktor forward Vitaly Kravtsov has sent a car to fighters of the 14th Special Purpose Brigade of Russia's GRU, and said it has nothing to do with hockey.
"I decided to send the lads a vehicle like this. Viktor Tarabarin, a good friend of our family who served in the conflict, has known me since I was a kid. We got talking about how hard it is out there, and I decided to send the lads a vehicle like this. It is not connected with hockey or with making a political statement. I simply decided that perhaps this car will save someone, all the best to everyone. The unit designed the decals," Kravtsov said.
The 26-year-old is recovering from an Achilles tendon injury and has not played this KHL season.
