Chicago have signed forward Oliver Moore to a five-year contract worth an average of $4.25m a year. The deal runs from the 2027/28 season to the end of 2031/32.
Moore, 21, is on a cap hit of $941,000 under his current contract, which expires at the end of 2026/27. The new figure is more than four times that.
Last season he set career highs for Chicago in games (51), goals (5), assists (14) and points (19). Among the club's rookies he ranked third in each of goals, assists and points. He also played 9 games for Rockford in the AHL and scored 9 (6+3) points.
The extension keeps Moore under contract for a further four seasons beyond the one now running.
