About the player
Ajdin Nukić started his senior career at Slaven Živinice before a free transfer took him to Tuzla City in the summer of 2018. He spent six years there, and was part of the squad that finished as runners-up in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2021–22. After leaving Tuzla City, he returned to Bosnian football in the summer of 2025, when Velež Mostar announced his signing on a free transfer.
Right-footed and capable of playing on the right side of midfield as well as at full-back, Nukić has also represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at senior international level. He made his debut for the national team in a friendly against Denmark in June 2021, coming on as a substitute in the second half of a match his side lost 2–0.
At Velež, he now wears the number 7 shirt as he looks to add to his three international caps.
