About the player
Abdulpasha Dzhabrailov came through the Anzhi Makhachkala academy before switching to the Makhachkala branch of the Dynamo Moscow academy in 2020, then joined Dynamo Makhachkala's youth setup in early 2022. He worked his way up through Dynamo-2 Makhachkala, where he made 21 appearances and scored twice in the Second League, before earning his senior debut in the 2023/24 season.
That campaign ended with Dynamo Makhachkala finishing as runners-up in the Russian First League, sending the club into the Premier League for the first time in its history — a promotion Dzhabrailov contributed to from the fringes of the squad, with three league appearances and one in the Russian Cup.
Rather than easing straight into Premier League football, he was sent out on loan to Mashuk-KMV Pyatigorsk in August 2024, where he became a regular fixture, making 14 league appearances and three in the cup in the Second League. Dynamo Makhachkala recalled him in February 2025, and he returned to a first-team role, playing ten Premier League matches and two in the Cup as the club adjusted to life in the top flight.
He has yet to add international recognition to his record, with no call-ups so far at any youth level for Russia. His contract at Dynamo Makhachkala runs until the summer of 2027.
