Aleksandar Marinov

Aleksandar Marinov came through Levski Sofia's youth ranks before switching academies in the summer of 2023, joining Ludogorets Razgrad's under-17 side. The move paid off: he was named "Goal of the Month" for April while playing for the Ludogorets under-17 team, an early marker in a career that has since climbed steadily through the club's development ladder.

He has also played for Ludogorets under-19 in the UEFA Youth League and represented Bulgaria at youth level, collecting caps for both the under-19 and under-18 national sides, including appearances in UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualifiers.

Marinov's rise through Ludogorets' reserve setup has been gradual rather than explosive. He made his bow for Ludogorets II in the Vtora Liga during the 2023/2024 season with a handful of appearances, then established himself as a regular starter the following campaign, contributing goals as well as minutes. That involvement continued into the next season, and he has since added goals in his most recent outings for the reserves.

The senior breakthrough has followed the same unhurried pattern. Marinov is registered with Ludogorets Razgrad's first-team squad and has featured for them in the efbet League, though his time at that level remains limited so far.
