About the player
Anton Lund is a product of Sandviken itself, having grown up in the city's Västanbyn district. He took his first steps in the game at local club Högbo AIK before moving into the Sandvikens IF academy in his early teens.
In 2023 Lund joined the academy of Gefle IF, where he made his competitive debut in the Svenska Cupen during the 2024/2025 season. He returned to Sandvikens IF in 2025, initially featuring for the club's reserve side in Division 3 while training alongside the U19 squad.
Lund made his senior competitive debut for Sandvikens IF in the Svenska Cupen during the 2025/2026 season. He has since added a Superettan appearance to his record, coming on for seven minutes. In April 2026, he signed his first professional contract with the club, running until the end of the 2028 season.
