About the player
Artúr Musák left Ukraine for Slovakia at the age of 12, moving on from SJFSSORU Užhorod to join the Zemplín Michalovce academy, where he progressed through the youth ranks until his senior debut in July 2023. Over two seasons with Zemplín he made 38 senior appearances and scored four goals, including strikes against MŠK Žilina and Dukla Banská Bystrica, before Baník Ostrava moved for him in September 2025. Zemplín turned down an initial offer of €500,000; the fee eventually agreed has been reported at figures ranging up to €1 million depending on the source, and Musák signed a contract in Ostrava running until 2030.
He has yet to find the net for the senior side but has set up a goal for a teammate.
A dual Hungarian-Slovak citizen, Musák chose to represent Slovakia at international level. His first call-up to the under-21 side came in March 2026, and he made his debut for the age group in a 3–1 win over Kazakhstan in European Championship qualifying, a match that brought him his first cap at that level.
