About the player
Courtney Brown's move to Utah Royals FC in December 2025. Signed as a free agent on a one-year deal through the 2026 season, she joined her hometown club after two seasons at Washington Spirit, where she had arrived via the fourth round of the 2024 NWSL Draft.
Before turning professional, Brown built her reputation at the University of Utah, where she captained the Utes for three straight seasons and scored 14 goals in 94 appearances between 2019 and 2023.
Her rookie season with Washington Spirit in 2024 saw her feature in 25 matches, scoring once. Brown started her youth career at La Roca FC before moving into the college game.
She has not been capped by the United States women's national team at senior or youth level. With Utah Royals FC, she now begins a new chapter close to home.
