Douglas Willian da Silva Souza

Douglas Willian da Silva Souza, known as Douglas Tanque, began his senior career at Guarani in 2010 before joining Corinthians the following year. He never played for the Corinthians first team, instead going out on a string of loans to Paraná, Ipatinga, Guaratinguetá, Penapolense and Ponte Preta, where he scored 11 goals in 30 appearances. He also won the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior with Corinthians' youth side in 2012.

His career then took him abroad, first to Thespakusatsu Gunma in Japan, then to Cafetaleros de Tapachula in Mexico, back to Japan with Albirex Niigata, and on to Police Tero in Thailand. It was in Portugal, at Paços de Ferreira, that Douglas Tanque established himself. Over three seasons he became the club's all-time leading scorer in competitive matches with 37 goals in 101 appearances, won the LigaPro title in 2018–19 and was named Primeira Liga Forward of the Month in June 2020.

A spell at Khor Fakkan in the United Arab Emirates preceded his move to Turkish football with Samsunspor in 2022. He finished the 2022–23 TFF First League season as the club's top scorer with 15 goals, helping Samsunspor win the league and earn promotion to the Süper Lig. He then moved to Kocaelispor, scoring 10 goals in 19 appearances, before returning to Japan with Shimizu S-Pulse in a €750,000 transfer in February 2024. Douglas Tanque joined Bandırmaspor as a free agent in August 2025, and later had a brief stint with Iğdır FK from July 2026.
