Gevorg Tarakhchyan

Tarakhchyan came through the Banants youth academy, the club now known as Urartu, and made his first-team debut there in May 2020. He spent the following seasons shuttling between Sevan, Noah and BKMA before returning to Urartu in September 2023. His stay there did not last long: in February 2025 he moved on to Alashkert, and by June that year he had signed for Pyunik Yerevan.

None of those clubs have handed him a league title while he was on the books. Pyunik finished fourth in the 2024-25 Armenian Premier League, the season won by Noah, and the title Urartu claimed the year before came while Tarakhchyan was on their roster during a different spell, so it sits outside his own account of trophies won.

His international story is still short. Tarakhchyan worked his way through every Armenian youth level, from the U14s up to the U21s, where he has made a string of appearances. The senior side gave him his first cap on 4 June 2024, in a game against Slovenia, and it remains his only appearance for the national team so far.

At 168 cm, Tarakhchyan is still building his case at senior level, both for Pyunik and for Armenia.
