Giannino Vianello

Giannino Vianello grew up in Ypenburg, in The Hague, and joined Sparta Rotterdam's youth setup in January 2015. Three years later Ajax took him into their academy, but the move did not stick: he returned to Sparta in 2020 and has built his career there since. He signed his first professional contract with the club in January 2023, and in October 2025 extended that deal to run until the summer of 2029.

Vianello worked his way up through Jong Sparta Rotterdam, where he has made 47 appearances in the Tweede Divisie, scoring twice, including a goal in the promotion-relegation play-offs in June 2026. Vianello made his Eredivisie debut for Sparta against NAC Breda in April 2026 and, just over two weeks later, started his first match, against Telstar.

Vianello holds dual Dutch-Italian nationality but has represented the Netherlands at youth international level, moving up through the age groups from the under-16s to the under-19s. With the U19 side he has continued to add to his caps, having scored once for that group. He has not yet won a senior title or individual award, with his focus so far on establishing himself in Sparta Rotterdam's first team.
