Herman Hammy Geelmuyden

Herman Geelmuyden's development took a detour through the Netherlands before it properly took off. Having come through Stabæk's academy from 2017 and made his first senior appearances there in 2019, he left for PSV Eindhoven's youth ranks on a free transfer in 2020. The move produced no senior football, and within a year he was back in Bærum.

That return, in 2021, turned out to be the making of him. Over four seasons back at Stabæk, the left-footed attacking midfielder established himself as a regular, making 91 appearances and scoring 11 goals across the Eliteserien and the 1. divisjon, with a further six goals in 20 Norwegian Cup matches — a notably productive record from midfield.

In September 2025 he moved on loan to Åsane for the remainder of that season, scoring once in six appearances before the loan was extended into 2026, where he has continued to feature regularly. He now wears the number 7 shirt for the club.

Internationally, Geelmuyden built a heavy scoring record through Norway's youth ranks rather than the senior side: 32 caps and 15 goals in total, including seven goals in six appearances at under-15 level and five in 13 at under-16, before his involvement tailed off with two appearances and no goals at under-20. He has not yet been capped by the senior national team.
