About the player
Jordan Courtney-Perkins came through the youth ranks at Newmarket SFC and Brisbane City before joining Brisbane Roar's academy. He broke into the first team there, making 15 A-League appearances between 2019 and 2021 and winning the Y-League title in 2018–19.
In June 2021 he left Australia for Poland, signing for Raków Częstochowa on a free transfer. His time at the club brought team honours rather than regular first-team football at first: a loan at Warta Poznań in 2021–22 yielded five appearances, while Raków itself won the Polish Cup that season and Courtney-Perkins picked up an IV liga Silesia I medal with the reserve side. He returned to Brisbane Roar on loan for 2022–23 and made the role his own, playing 25 times and scoring once.
Sydney FC signed him on a free transfer in September 2023 on a three-year contract. He won the Australia Cup with the club in 2023 and was named to the A-Leagues All Star team in 2024.
Courtney-Perkins has represented Australia at under-17 and under-23 level, and was part of the U-23 squad that reached the final of the 2024 WAFF U-23 Championship. He has not yet made his senior debut for the Socceroos.
