About the player
That move arrived in July 2025, when Elbers was initially assigned to the club's under-21 side for the 2025/2026 season while also appearing with the under-19s. In March 2026, he was named among the substitutes for an Eerste Divisie fixture against Jong Ajax, a match FC Eindhoven won 2-1, but he did not take the field.
On 28 July 2026, Elbers made his debut for FC Eindhoven's first team against his former club, PSV, coming on as a substitute for a single minute in a game his new side lost 3-0.
