Kirill Morozov

Kirill Morozov came through the Krasnodar academy, playing for Krasnodar-2 and Krasnodar-3 before senior football took him away from the club that raised him. Loans to Afips and Zenit-Izhevsk followed, then a string of moves through Yelets, Rodina and Dainava in Lithuania that shaped him into a well-travelled midfielder before he had turned 25.

His longest spell of stability came at Irtysh Omsk, where he joined in August 2018 and stayed for four seasons. He was given the captaincy there in the 2021/22 campaign and scored 11 goals in his time at the club, contributing to a second-place finish in the Second Division Zone East in 2018/19. A brief loan to Tiumen interrupted that run in the summer of 2019.

From Irtysh he moved to Volga Ulyanovsk in July 2022, then to Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk a year later, where he featured in the First League and scored in the 2023/24 season. He is left-footed, a trait that has shaped how he has been used across midfield throughout his career.

Morozov never earned a senior cap for Russia, though he was capped nine times for the under-16 side and twice at under-17 level.
