Lautaro Gutierrez

Belgrano did not need to look far for reinforcements up front. Lautaro Gutiérrez had already spent years working his way through the club's academy in Córdoba, and in 2025 he signed his first professional contract, moving straight from the youth ranks into the first-team squad.

His league debut came on 17 November 2025, away to Unión de Santa Fe, when he was sent on as a substitute in the 86th minute. It was a brief introduction, but it did not take long for the forward to make himself useful in front of goal. In the Apertura tournament in January 2026, Gutiérrez scored the winner against Rosario Central on his first appearance of the campaign. He followed that with another goal against Tigre, netting in the 36th minute of a match that finished 1-1, and later added a third in the Copa Argentina, scoring in a 3-0 win over Atlético Rafaela in March.

By May 2026 he had made 17 appearances across all competitions for Belgrano, with two league goals and one in the Copa Argentina to his name.

Before breaking into the first team, Gutiérrez built a reputation in Córdoba's regional amateur football, where he finished as top scorer in his age category while still working through Belgrano's youth system. He also has international experience at underage level, having represented Argentina's under-20 side at the South American Games held in Luque, Paraguay, in 2022.

At 19, with his contract running to the end of 2026, Gutiérrez remains one of the newer faces in Belgrano's attack.
