Leverton Pierre

Leverton Pierre made his name as a defensive midfielder in French football before moving to Portugal. He started out with SC Bastia II and then the reserve side of AC Ajaccio, where he scored 13 goals, but got only a single senior appearance in Ligue 2 for Ajaccio before FC Metz signed him in January 2019. He never played for Metz's first team; instead the club sent him on loan to USL Dunkerque for the 2019–2020 season, where he made 23 appearances in the National league, and Metz then sold him to Dunkerque outright. Pierre became a regular there, making 85 appearances over three seasons across Ligue 2 and the National division.

From Dunkerque he went to US Avranches, scoring four times in 28 league matches, before a season at LB Châteauroux. He joined Vizela in July 2025 on a one-year deal with an option to extend.

Internationally, Pierre has become a fixture for Haiti, earning 34 caps since his debut in June 2021 and featuring at the 2021, 2023 and 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cups. He was named in Haiti's squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in May 2026, but withdrew injured in June, with Garven Metusala called up as his replacement. His run in the national team traces back to youth level, where he won the 2016 CFU Under-20 Tournament and helped Haiti through 2017 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship qualifying, scoring in that campaign.
