Nikita Chagrov

Nikita Chagrov started out at Moscow's Smena academy before signing his first professional contract with Torpedo Moscow as a 16-year-old, though he never made a senior appearance there. His path through Russian football took him via Rostov's youth ranks, Chayka Peschanokopskoye and Avangard Kursk, where he made 51 league appearances and was part of the squad that reached the Russian Cup final in 2018, though he did not play in that match. A move to Tambov followed, where he made a single Premier League appearance before being released.

In 2022 he joined Icelandic club Kórneringur, making six appearances before the club disbanded, then signed with Kazakhstan's Okzhetpes the following year, where he made 22 appearances in the Kazakhstan Premier League.

Chagrov joined Rotor Volgograd on a free transfer in December 2023, officially registering with the club in January 2024, and helped the side win promotion from the Second League to the First League that season. He has since made 87 official appearances for Rotor and extended his contract with the club until the end of the 2026/2027 season. His form has been recognised individually: he was named Best Goalkeeper of the Russian First League for the 2025/2026 season and Best Player of the First League in 2025, while Rotor's own supporters voted him their Best Player for the 2024/2025 season.
