About the player
Dantas has never played in his native Brazil beyond a brief start at Vila Nova, where two appearances at São Bernardo do Campo's local club preceded a move to São Bernardo itself. From there his career has run almost entirely through Scandinavia and Finland. A loan to Vejle Boldklub brought nine league games and two goals, before a permanent switch to Sweden's IK Brage. A loan to Vasalunds IF followed, where he made 25 league appearances, then a free transfer to Oskarshamns AIK produced 26 more.
His longest and most settled spell abroad came at FC Haka, where a two-year contract signed in December 2023 yielded 40 league appearances across the 2024 and 2025 seasons. That run of consistent playing time preceded his move to FC Lahti on a free transfer in 2026, bringing him into the Veikkausliiga.
He has not been capped by Brazil at senior or youth level, and his career so far has not brought a major team title or individual award. What stands out instead is the pattern of his path: a willingness to rebuild his career step by step in Denmark, Sweden and Finland rather than push for a return to Brazilian football.
