About the player
Usman Ekber grew up in Kashgar and made his way through the amateur system rather than a traditional academy, starting his senior career with Xinjiang Snowland. He featured in the Chinese National U-20 League in 2025, making five appearances without a goal or an assist to his name, before signing with Henan FC in February 2026.
The transfer carried no disclosed fee. At Henan, Ekber has found himself used mainly from the bench, with around ten appearances across the Chinese Super League and domestic cup football and 198 minutes on the pitch. He has started matches against Yunnan Yukun, Qingdao Hainiu, Shanghai Shenhua and Chongqing Tongliang Long.
