Pedro Souza arrived at Vizela in the summer of 2025, the product of eight years spent inside Benfica's academy system. Born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, the goalkeeper joined Benfica's youth ranks in the 2017/18 season and worked his way up through the club's development structure, spending his final three seasons with Benfica B before his contract expired.
