S. Banse

Born in Geel, he passed through Gierle, De Kempen and Westerlo as a boy before settling into Mechelen's youth ranks and then Gent's, where he stayed from 2016 to 2022. His senior career began not with the first team but with Standard Liège's reserve side in the Challenger Pro League, where he made 30 appearances and scored once — enough to earn a promotion to the Standard Liège first team in 2023, where he featured six times in the Belgian Pro League.

A loan to Valenciennes in January 2024 gave him a fuller season, with 26 league appearances plus four in the Coupe de France before Fürth signed him that August on a contract running to 2027. He has since made 22 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga, scoring once.

Internationally, Bansé represented Belgium at under-15 level before switching allegiance to Burkina Faso, for whom he has won 12 caps. He was part of the squad at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, where Burkina Faso reached the round of 16. His only international goal came against Burundi in October 2024, a 34th-minute strike in a 4–1 win during qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
