About the player
Serif Nhaga started out in Porto's academy, where he spent four years learning the game. The move to PSG in 2023 put him in the club's under-19 side, where he made four appearances and scored once that season.
A year at Sampdoria followed before he joined Leixões SC, where he has since become a regular fixture in defence. In his time at the Portuguese club he has made 21 appearances and scored twice, numbers that mark him out among the squad's younger defenders. Nhaga has yet to add a cap for Portugal's senior side, though he has represented the country at youth level.
