About the player
His first senior cap came for North Macedonia in 2014, when he became the youngest player the country had ever fielded. In 2017 Seferi switched allegiance to Albania, the country he was later picked to represent at UEFA Euro 2024.
Born in Kumanovo, he came through at Rabotnički and was part of the side that took the Macedonian First Football League and the Macedonian Cup in 2013–14. In January 2015 BSC Young Boys paid a reported €200,000 for him.
The move that changed his standing was a smaller one. He joined KF Tirana on loan in January 2021, made the deal permanent that July, and in 2021–22 finished as joint-top scorer in the Kategoria Superiore with 19 goals as Tirana won the title. Vorskla Poltava signed him in August 2022 for €500,000, and in July 2023 he was loaned to Baniyas in the UAE Pro League until the following June.
