About the player
SC Feucht and Greuther Fürth before joining the Bayern Munich academy in 2015. He made his senior debut with Bayern Munich II in 2017, but a loan spell at 1. FC Nürnberg was disrupted by ruptured ankle ligaments in 2019. He returned to Greuther Fürth in 2020 and helped the club up into the Bundesliga in 2021.
A move to LAFC in February 2023. He scored the fastest goal in the club's history against FC Dallas the following month. Tillman signed a contract extension through 2028 in September 2025. He started the 2024 U.S. A hamstring injury interrupted his 2024 season in July.
Internationally, Tillman switched allegiance from Germany to the United States in May 2023 after representing German youth sides from under-16 to under-19 level, and he made his senior USA debut against Slovenia in January 2024.
