About the player
Wally Fofana started out with BK Milan FC in Gambia before moving to Belgium in May 2021, when he signed for KVC Westerlo and began life with the club's reserve side, Jong Westerlo. He was part of the Westerlo squad that won the Belgian First Division B title in the 2021/2022 season, and the following campaign he went out on loan to Olympic Charleroi.
His path then took him further north: in 2024 he joined Latvian side BFC Daugavpils, and in February 2026 he moved on a free transfer to FK Auda. At international level, Fofana represented Gambia's under-20 side between 2021 and 2023, making six appearances and scoring one goal, though he has yet to add a senior cap to his record.
