Williams Chimezie Oluebube

Some players spend their teenage years working through an academy system before a move abroad ever comes up. Williams Chimezie Oluebube's path started at the Campos academy in Nigeria, and from there joining Alania Vladikavkaz in 2024.

His time at Alania did not produce a return on the scoresheet — ten appearances without a goal or an assist. The picture changed: across fifteen matches he scored once. It was a small mark.

The move that reshaped his career came in January 2026. Alania and the forward agreed to terminate his contract, and within weeks he had signed a long-term deal with Botev Plovdiv in Bulgaria, dated 19 January. A step into a new league altogether.

Minutes have come at the Bulgarian club, but not yet a goal — twelve appearances so far without finding the net or setting one up.
