Yang Ruici

Yang Ruiqi came through the Shandong Taishan academy: in the AFC Champions League, against Lion City Sailors on 21 April 2022, the AFC singled out his display in a goalless draw as a "defensive masterclass". He made five starts in that campaign. A year later, he was part of the Shandong Taishan U-21 side that won the CFA U-21 League title, earning the club's youth team promotion to China League Two.

In February 2024 he moved to Shaanxi Chang'an Union, then playing in China League Two, and made 21 appearances across the league and FA Cup that season, scoring once. He was on the pitch for the club's first-ever professional league win, a 2–0 away success at Hubei Istar in March 2024, and in September that year struck a 97th-minute winner in a 2–1 away victory over Guangxi Hengchen. Early in 2025 he featured for Shandong Taishan B in China League Two before a further loan, in June 2025, took him to Chinese Super League side Meizhou Hakka for the rest of the season.

At Meizhou Hakka he has worked his way into regular involvement at the top level, and on 24 October 2025 he scored his first Chinese Super League goal, in a 4–1 home defeat by Yunnan Yukun. He was called up to a China U-15 training camp in 2019 under coach Antonio Puche, though he has not featured for any national team at competitive level since. At 188 cm and right-footed.
