The 2021 Chatham Cup final ended 4–2 against Miramar Rangers, and it completed a set: Cashmere Technical had by then taken every provincial trophy on offer.
The club exists because of the Christchurch earthquake. When the 2011 quake wrecked the grounds and facilities of both Cashmere Wanderers and Woolston Technical, the two sides merged in early 2012 rather than rebuild separately. Neither was a newcomer — Wanderers had been playing since 1951, when it was founded as Atlantis AFC, and Woolston Technical was itself a merger, formed in 2007 from Woolston Working Men's Club and Christchurch Technical.
That last name carries the deepest line back.
The domestic record since then reads as near-total control of the Mainland Premier League: eight titles between 2013 and 2021, broken only by 2017.
Home is English Park, also known as ASB Football Park, which holds 4,000.
