What became FK Pobeda traces back to 1922 as FK Belasica, and the side passed through the names Golaš, Makedonija and Proleter before settling on Pobeda — Victory — in 1948. The current club re-registered in March 2002.

The closest the club came to the country's elite was the 1994–95 season, when it won the Macedonian Second League's Eastern Group and earned promotion. Pobeda was expelled from the First League soon after, over match-fixing allegations tied to a game against Bregalnica Delchevo, and neither the Macedonian Cup nor the First League has come its way since.

Pobeda has instead built its record in the lower divisions, taking the Third League's South Group in 2001–02 and, most recently, the Eastern Group in 2025–26.
