Polonia Warszawa U19

The junior title came down to a single goal. In 1977 Polonia's under-19 side beat Śląsk Wrocław 1:0 in the championship match. They reached the final twice more, in 1991 and in 2000, and lost both.

The wait for a second youth championship of any kind ended in the 2024/25 Central Youth League U-17, where Polonia beat Raków Częstochowa 3:1 to be crowned Polish champions.

Where they play. Konwiktorska 6, in the Śródmieście district of Warsaw, a short walk from the Old Town. The stadium carries the name of General Kazimierz Sosnkowski and holds 7,150.

The black shirts the club is nicknamed for — Czarne Koszule — are worn by the academy sides too, with white and red alongside them.

The seniors give the juniors something to measure themselves against: Polish champions in 1946 and again in 2000, Polish Cup winners in 1952 and 2001. The 2000 season brought the league title and the Super Cup.

Polonia Warszawa was founded on 19 November 1911. The junior championship of 1977 stands 66 years after that date, and 49 years before this one.
