«SK Tapa»
Vahur Oolup made his Estonia debut in 2024 after years as SK Tapa's top scorer.
The club traces itself to 1994, though the paperwork behind it, the registration of Spordiklubi Tapa MTÜ, was only filed in November 1998. What has stayed constant since is the reliance on young, local players rather than imports, which is also why the club has sometimes played as SK Tapa/Tapa VSK, and more recently under sponsor names such as SK Tapa/N.R. Energy and SK Tapa/Team Kaitsevägi.
None of that has yet brought a trophy. The closest SK Tapa came was the 2020/2021 Estonian Cup, where they beat HC Kehra/Primend in the quarter-finals before Põlva Serviti stopped them in the semi-final.
The team continues in the Estonian Meistriliiga and the Baltic Handball League.
