The stadium is owned by the General Presidency of Youth Welfare, and for a long time it was known as the Department of Education Stadium. The capacity is small, three thousand seats at most, which means the boundary between the players and the spectators is tight.
It is a multi-use facility, which shows in the way the space is divided. The same ground that hosts the local league has also seen the U-15 Kingdom Clubs Championship final played on it, when Al-Orobah beat Al-Badaya in 2022. It has served as a neutral venue for other clubs in the region, including Al-Arabi and Al-Taqadom, when their own facilities were unavailable.
