Al-Sadaqua Walsalam Stadium

Al-Sadaqua Walsalam Stadium in Kuwait City has a history that is not always easy to pin down. The date it opened is subject to conflicting reports; while some records point to 1990, others suggest the venue existed earlier, with one source mentioning a 1989 match with an attendance of 28,000. The stadium was renamed Al-Sadaqua Walsalam Stadium following the 1989 Peace and Friendship Cup, having previously been known as Kazma Stadium. Situated on Al-Ittihad Street, it has seen a major renovation completed in 2016 by Gzone (General Trading & Contracting), which modernized the facility.

The ground features a natural grass playing surface and can hold 21,500 spectators. Its role as a host for significant tournaments is clear, having staged the final of the 10th Gulf Cup in 1990, the 16th Gulf Cup in 2003, and the 2012 West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) Championship. It also hosted the 2013 AFC Cup Final between Al-Qadsia and Al-Kuwait, where 10,000 people attended. A friendly match between Kazma SC and FC Barcelona on December 21, 2009, drew an attendance of 21,500, which is recorded as the highest attendance figure for the venue.

The stadium has also hosted the Kuwait Emir Cup and Crown Cup finals, as well as the WWE Kuwait International Tournament in 1997.
