V.V. Petrov Arena

Krasnogorsk, Russia

The V.V. Petrov Arena sits on Lesnaya Street. It has been open since June 30, 2019, on the 72nd birthday of Vladimir Vladimirovich Petrov, a Soviet hockey player who died in 2017. The facility was built as part of the Vladimir Petrov Ice Hockey Academy to serve as a training centre for youth hockey, supported then by Governor Andrei Vorobyov.

It is a small place, holding just 1,000 spectators. The main hall is used by SKA-Yunior Academy, a team in the Junior Hockey League (MHL) that moved here in 2023. Before they arrived, the ice was occupied by HK Dynamo Moscow Oblast (Dynamo MO) of the Supreme Hockey League (VHL) during the 2020–2021 season, though that club was dissolved shortly after. The complex also includes a training rink and an indoor universal sports hall with a synthetic sports park floor suitable for mini-football, volleyball, and basketball.

While the card might list a covered football field, the reality on the ground is a multi-purpose hall rather than a dedicated full-size turf pitch with natural or artificial grass heating systems. The atmosphere is quiet; specific match attendance figures are rarely published, and some VHL matches were played behind closed doors. The highest possible attendance record corresponds to the full capacity, though that number is rarely reached.

It hosts ice shows, such as one for the 80th Anniversary of Victory Day, and concerts by bands like Radio Tapok. The venue is closely associated with the return of the Final of the Russian Individual Ice Speedway Championship to the district in February 2023.
