Carter–Finley Stadium

You can see the 'Wolfpack Club' lettering running along the glass-fronted level of the towers, marking the boundary between the public tier and the hospitality areas. The access ramps leading up to these upper decks are wide, cutting through the green of the surrounding trees.

The playing surface itself is bright green, maintained carefully for the NC State Wolfpack. Around the edges, the artificial turf collars are visible, a darker strip protecting the grass from the wear of the crowd and the players. The goalposts at each end are simple white structures, framed by the advertising boards that line the perimeter. The stadium sits on Trinity Road, but the immediate approach is a mix of gravel and concrete, with parking spaces marked out in white lines. It is not a village green, but it does not try to be a monolith either. The towers add weight to the south end, but the open sky still reaches over the top.
