Central Stadium 'Trud' named after Lev Yashin
Ulyanovsk, Russia
Formerly: Central Stadium 'Trud'
In summer it carries football for Волга ; in winter the same bowl turns over to bandy, and the winter configuration once counted 14,820 places against the 8,448 the ground held after its 2006 rebuild.
That 2006 work came ahead of the II Малые олимпийские игры ПФО — plastic seats, an «Эластур» running track, an electronic scoreboard. The ground was fitted with a new football surface, six running lanes, refurbished dressing rooms and showers, a press centre and fitness rooms.
Floodlight pylons went up in 1995–1996.
A concept published in 2018 went further still: demolish the old stands, build new ones for 10,500 with canopies and infrared heating.
The ground holds an РФС licence for Первая лига matches through to 15 July 2026, and Волга play there at that level. Between fixtures it is also where the Ульяновская область squads train for athletics and speed skating.
