Dunaújvárosi Jégcsarnok
Dunaújváros, Hungary
The Dunaújvárosi Jégcsarnok opened in 1973 as the first ice hockey stadium in the Hungarian countryside, long before the city's football stadium was completed. The structure has kept its basic shape since then, with five rows of seating rising from the boards.
A hockey game moves across the surface, fast and low, while the stands watch from above. The capacity is listed as up to four thousand.
Its name is painted in red letters on the side of the stand. The two grounds sit near each other, both part of the same Sport Center Complex.
The hockey team that plays here has changed its name several times. It was founded in 1974 and has been known as Dunaújvárosi Acélbikák since 2015. They play in the Erste Liga.
