Estadio Agustín Muquita Sánchez

The ground at Matuna keeps the older name in local speech well after the official one changed. Opened as Estadio Matuna on 13 January 1963, it was renamed for the footballer Agustín "Muquita" Sánchez exactly five years later, on 13 January 1968.

Capacity on paper runs to 3,040, yet the record crowds on file run well past that mark: 5,000 packed in for the friendly between Panama and Haiti on 31 March 2009, a 4-0 win for the hosts, and again for the Apertura 2009 final on 13 December that year, when Árabe Unido beat Tauro 3-2 to lift the title on this pitch. Both figures sit above the listed seating count.

The playing surface has been synthetic since 2009, relaid in 2016, with a further replacement — this time to a newer-generation turf with an integrated irrigation system — planned for 2025-2026. San Francisco FC and Club Atlético Independiente de La Chorrera both use it as their home ground in the top flight, alongside second-division side Alianza West; Santa Gema and Sport West played here before their clubs dropped out of the league system in 2017-2018.

Continental football has passed through more than once: San Francisco hosted San Juan Jabloteh of Trinidad and Tobago in the CONCACAF Champions League in July 2009, Tauro faced Honduras's Real España in the Liga Concacaf in August 2018, and Árabe Unido lost 2-4 to Olimpia in the UNCAF Champions Cup in July 2019. The ground also staged fixtures in the 2013 CONCACAF Under-17 Championship. The Clausura 2020 final, Independiente's 3-1 win over San Francisco on 20 December that year, was played behind closed doors under pandemic restrictions.
