Estadio Félix Capriles
Cochabamba, Bolivia
Formerly: Estadio Sudamericano Félix Capriles Sainz
It went up in 1938, with construction reaching back to November 1935, and the curved end stands that frame it today were only finished decades later, in 1944 by the firm Brosovich y Musevich, and again reworked in 1992 — a stadium that grew in stages rather than arriving whole.
The full name on old documents, Estadio Sudamericano Félix Capriles Sainz , points to its original purpose. It has since hosted Copa Sudamericana fixtures.
The pitch is natural grass, and Cochabamba's rains still take their toll on the surface, forcing periodic repair. Sitting on Avenida Juan de La Rosa, the ground remains municipal property, run through the departmental administration rather than a club, which is why it has never needed a website of its own.
